Currently at $9,200.00 with free shipping too. Bargain. I think I'll buy two and do my bit for charity :D

I wonder if AMD will have to "mark to market" the value of their remaining inventory of TWKR cpus based on the datum point provided by this open-market sale of a TWKR chip...

Definitely selling as a collector's item at that price. It will probably never be used.

Frame a cpu on your wall?

Nah, make it the world's most expensive keychain.

And I never expected it to go over 9,000! Or over 10,000.

This is either going to a collector or a complete idiot who thinks he can run it at 7.0Ghz+ 24/7. These chips won't be released to the public because they are binned for their high leakage which allows for a higher voltage input before frying the chip. Even at stock speeds the power consumption and heat would be horrible compared to a regular Phenom II and due to the leakage AMD won't give a warranty with the chip.

I've seen weirder shit on people's walls before...

Besides which, I actually know of an artist who takes old computer innards and literally makes artful arrangements from them for hanging on walls, setting on desks, etc.

In my office at the university I was sorely lacking space for my computers when I first got into building beowulf clusters so I mounted all the essential components (mobo/psu/hdd) on flat boards which I then bolted to the wall (like a picture frame) up high and out of the way. The nodes were headless and made for great topic material for small talk when the grant reviewers came around for updates.
