I knew that was coming. AMD want's to move their line of processors up to a speed that Intel can't compete with, essentially eliminating their competition.

I'd say AMD is a strong buy. Analyssts seem to agree, but what do they know..

I wouldn't buy Intel stock.. Well, I suppose it could go up when the P4 hits, but what if it was a total flop?..

Intel stock is better. Doesnt matter that AMD has better chips or whatever, people will not trust amd for at least another 3-4 years. Trust me this is from a financial point of view, and if you were a smart investor AMD vs intel at current share prices you will have a much easier time with intel

being a smart investor doesnt make you an idiot. You have to go with what the institutions are doing or you are gonna get screwed. You cant get passionate about a company or else you are gonna get screwed, thats my experience with it anyways.
