Is there any program I can get to see if my athlon is a 200 mhz or 266 mhz bus?

AFAIK you need to read the CPU core markings.

CPUID says it is an AMD Athlon, mod 4

Family: 6
Model: 4
Stepping: 2
Processor type: 0

I-Cache: 64
D-Cache: 64
L2 Cache: 256

Yield, that is correct. However he could have a "B" chip running @ 133FSB.

Look at the numbers on your core,if it ends with a "B" then its 200 if it ends with a "C" then it's 266.

Ok. You're looking at your Athlon ok look at the top line on the core. This is what it will look like:

A1000AM51C

Now, you'll see the letter bolded (the last letter). If that letter is a B, then it's a 200fsb Athlon. If it's a C, like in the example I gave, then it's a 266fsb Athlon. Understand?:)
