This is funny

I quote from a brochure...

The Fast And The Furious

The Fast And The Furious

Two cares in a race. The Blue Car has a 6-cylinder engine (Prelude ) while the Green Car has an 8-cylinder engine (The American Beast). While the Blue Car's engine works hard in terms of high RPMs, it doesn't actually go all that fast down the road (AMD 0wned ricers). In contrast, the Green Car's more powerfule ngine doesn't have to run at high RPMs. Yet on the road, the Green Car blows the doors off the Blue Car. The mower powerful engine of the Green Car is designed to run efficiently to deliver a faster, more powerful driving experience.

The same goes for processors. Some processors have to rev their engine to higher RPMs (measured in Megaherts or Gigaherts) (Intel) just to achieve similar levels of performance. The AMD Athlon XP processori is like having a more powerful engine because it does more work per revolution, therefore it can outperform a processor that simply revs its engine higher but is less powerful.

**** AMD, I love to rice! LET THE RICING CONTINUE

That doesn't make sense.. that says that the more powerful car with the bigger engine blows the other car away with the smaller engine, which is what we would expect, but AMD with the "lower Mhz" beats out the faster Intel with the "higher Mhz". What's the correlation??

You better add one hell of a cooling system to that AMD rig to keep it from burning to cinders.;):(

I think he's saying...the blue car = Intel...high RPMs with little oomph for equal speed (higher mhz)
Green car = AMD...lower RPMs but more oomph to those "RPMs" (mhz) to equal the same speed.
