Amd T-Bird 1.2ghz C not running at C??

i have a asus a7v133 with a 1.2ghz t-bird C(266mhz FSB)

The motheroard won't automatically detect the cpu so it makes me do it manually. When i set it to 133mhz bus with a 9.0 multiplier, it will register at 1200 but will not boot windows. It just locks up on the windows screen. I know this is a C version because of the code on the chip. I have tried a different 1200 C and it does the same thing. I also tried a 100mhz FSB times 12 and it does the same thing. What is wrong? I have a 320W AMD approved power supply. The cpu temp is around 46-47C all the time.

What is the normal running temp for the t-bird? I think 40-50C is normal but if it gets higher it can overheat.

Thanks!

1. Set the mobo into jumperfree mode.
2. Clear the CMOS.
3. Fire it up.

Just in case u dunno, to clear the CMOS on this mobo
1. Unplug to power cord from the PSU
2. Connect the 2 soldering point just next to the batt (the solder point w/ label "CLR CMOS") for bout say 10-20 seconds.
3. Done.

Asus A7V133 can run in entirely jumperfree mode.
