AMD System for gaming

i need your input on this guys
I want to build a gaming computer with amd processor
AMD OPTERON DUAL CORE (AM2) 1212 2.0GHZ 1000MHZ, 2X 1MB CACHE 64BIT or
AMD ATHLON 64 X2 (AM2) 4600+ 2.4GHZ 2000MHZ, 2 X 512KB CACHE 64BIT (WINDSOR)
Asus or Gigabye MoBo (AM2 Socket)
EVGA GEFORCE 7950GT KO PCI-E 512MB
SEASONIC 500W P4 ATX POWER SUPPLY (S12-500) is this good enough or do i need more ?
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.10 320GB 7200RPM SATA II
LG 18X DVD/RW DUAL LAYER W/LIGHTSCRIBE
Fot the Ram what shoul i use ? OCZ or Corsair
and what kind of heatsink?

If you're not overclocking use the stock heatsink, if you are then get a 3800+ or lower speed Opteron. I haven't kept up on heatsinks lately but I like my Big Typhoon (yes, a Thermaltake product that doesn't completely suck), the Tuniq Tower and Scythe Ninja are pretty popular. Again, if you're not overclocking then RAM isn't that big of a deal. Pick an amount (preferably 2GB) and a budget and get the fastest, lowest latency you can for the money.

Go with a higher watt Seasonic so you don't have to buy another PWS for your next upgrade. Both OCZ and Corsair are very good...I have both.

Im a Corsair man through and through. Never had a single problem with the hardware (although there was a sever user error that one time....) lol I was using a Gig of Corsair Value select on my firg ever rig and it actually performed great! Never overclocked but I did upgrade to 2GB of Corsair XMS for my current configuration and..DAMN.

Havent used OCZ so I wont say anything good or bad about it.
