AMD stock fan at 4879RPM?!

I'm overclocked at 2.65 at 1.42V using my AMD stock HSF.
amd 4000+ 2.4

I check everest, and it's reading 4879RPM fan speed... and my computer is actually quite loud.
Is this normal? Cool&Quiet is OFF, by the way. just curious.. because that's alot of RPM lol

I think my stock fan got up to 5100 rpm at times? I forget, I know it was up there. Mine would run pretty high depending on the room temp and load I belive. In the summer my computer room gets very warm and that's when my fan speeds would get insane. Now this summer I have a dual core, I'm not expecting anything to be quieter.
