Hey all
So I went to download cat 13.4 for my PowerColor 7790 and noticed that there is a special driver just for that card?
From the website:
"AMD has released a specific Catalyst™ Performance Driver for the AMD Radeon™ HD7790 graphics card for both Windows® and Linux based systems. This Catalyst Performance Driver can be downloaded from the links below."

According to 13.4 release notes, the 7790 is also supported. Great, why would AMD release two drivers for the same card? Now Im not sure which to get.
Any thoughts? The specific or normal 13.4?

Could be due to the 7790 being the first "GCN 1.1" card, as some have put it. It has a slight difference in the micro-architecture compared to the other 7xxx series cards.

Read up on it, if you're bored.

Since the 7790 is pretty new, the 13.4 drivers were already in development during its release. So it shipped with a version that had support for it most likely. 13.5 should have support for it by default.
