Has AMD said anything about Deneb compatibility with existing motherboards?
Do they expect current AM2+ boards to support voltages and the like?
(don't want to repeat i680 lack of support with Yorkfield)

Ah, I see then, yes that is pretty much an upgrade killer (for a lot of folks, not all of course) then if you got to toss your mobo and DDR2 ram on the way to upgrading to Deneb.

I believe that the first iteration of both Deneb and Shanghai are 100% compatible.
DDR3 isn't till next year.
