I was wondering how much of a difference the 1MB L2 cache makes compared to an athlon 64 with 512KB; mainly for games.

Also, would the benefits of a dual core CPU really only show when doing multitasking things, not really in games if the clock speed is similar?

I have an Nforce 4 ultra motherboard with socket 939.
