It's mostly been staying in stock at multiple retailers this week.
Newegg even dropped the $10 shipping charge they had been charging on the CPU when it was selling out almost instantly.
Now only the 5900X and 5950X are the two CPUs that are hard to come by at the moment.
I updated my BIOS a few hours ago because I'm getting ready to pull the trigger. I have a 2600X and the 5600X and 5800X were both in stock at MSRP. I Just couldn't verify getting the 5800X when the 5900X is only $100 more. Thought about the 5600X, but I'd rather do it once and be done with it. So I (and probably many others) are in the same boat waiting on that 5900X.Yeah that is what I hear. I want the 5900X still :/
I got my 5600x from Newegg 2 weeks ago, but I did pay the $10 shipping. Are you a human?

The 5900x has shown up a few times in the past month with availability lasting longer than a few seconds at least. AMD direct, as mentioned, seems to do drops on Thursday mornings around 11:30 EST. Last time the 5900x was available for about 15 minutes if I recall correctly.I updated my BIOS a few hours ago because I'm getting ready to pull the trigger. I got a 5900x from AMD direct on a Thursday drop. You are correct it lasted about 15 minutes, because I tried to get a 5950x but could not. I then tried to get a 5900x and was able to.The 5900x has shown up a few times in the past month with availability lasting longer than a few seconds at least. Thanks for the info. I know I don't need one, but I may just pick one up if it shows up tomorrow. The 5900x has shown up a few times in the past month with availability lasting longer than a few seconds at least. The NowInStock notifications through their website is bad. The Telegram service notifications from NowInStock is much better. Even that still misses things and is sometimes a little slower than other notification services. Just pull up their telegram services and don't bother with the website.Since I started using NowInStock for a 3080, it hasn't been working very well. F5 got me a 3080 and no NowInStock notifications.
AMD.com should be selling the 5900x tomorrow, and so should BestBuy. AMD.com has a drop every Thursday, and BB drops every two weeks. So Micro Center de-listed the 5900X, as of posting this comment.
And BestBuy has 5600X and 5800X available for shipping delivered tomorrow, looks like those two are at near regular availability.
I sure hope shopblt CPU arrival estimates are more accurate than their GPU ones, because their GPU warehouse estimates are worthless...ShopBLT has tons (15k+) of 5900X and 5950X chips coming soon. I paid $830 for my 5950x. No sales tax so I actually saved $50.
I guess we'll find out.I sure hope shopblt CPU arrival estimates are more accurate than their GPU ones, because their GPU warehouse estimates are worthless...
Apparently preorder for a huge drop they are getting April 5th. They don’t charge until it ships.I also saw shopblt is selling the 5950x for $850. I've never used that site before. I suppose right now it's preorder status?
Ok I have an 11900k on preorder and now I'm considering cancelling and ordering from shop blt but I'm still weary of the AMD Usb issues. I know they had a fix to the bios but I'm still weary because I use my HP Reverb g2 headset a lot.Apparently preorder for a huge drop they are getting April 5th. They don’t charge until it ships.
