Thats why I got the 5800X3D. Just in case they stop making them or do not stock them in the US. The AMD site is out of the 5800X3D as well as a few other sites.

The 5600 at $118 was imho the best gaming CPU deal just about ever if you look at price vs perf.

Maybe they sold the stock they wanted and are holding on to BF stock.

Maybe sold out for good? AMD isn't making 5000 series chips any more are they?
I have no idea where to find that info. Lisa Su has continued to say AM4 is going to be around. Nor have I seen any press releases that talk about Zen 3 EOL dates.

Hardware Canucks recently compared 2600X through 7600X using a 4090 and included the 3D. The 5600 runs 5600X speed just by choosing +200MHz PBO. Mine does it in ECO. Making the Canucks data applicable. Only you can apply the sub $120 price to the cost analysis. It is impressive how well the 5600X does with the 4090.

Hopefully Amazon brings the coupon back. Or Newegg restocks soon.

Yep exactly. The money you save on the 5600's can be put towards a 4000 series card and that is money well spent.

In spite of: Import taxes. Covid, Coming out of the Mining craze. etc. I still say this is an amazing time to build a Gaming PC. The FPS you can get for the money spent is the best its ever been. Quite crazy compared to the days of Half LIfe and a Voodoo 3 videocard.

Back in stock at Newegg $135.35 with games. Amazon has the better price at $129.82 with 5% cash back and the games. Not as hot a deal as it was, but still the bang for buck champ. Particularly for those willing to overclock.

More importantly, there is obviously still supply to be had.

Mine does say earliest delivery 12/11, but as late as 1/11. At least the price and games can be locked in. Newegg is backordered too.
