AMD Rig 600-700$ Budget

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Gaming.
2. What YOUR budget is. 600-700$
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. US
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. AMD, nothing nVidia
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts. N/A
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. Several.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. Slight OC on CPU.
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with. 1680x1050
9. WHEN do you plan to build it? ASAP

Haven't before assembled a rig for gaming, but have some experience with the process. Can't be completely outdated in 3 yrs. However, it's coming out to like 850 bucks..are there any changes that can be made to give me the gaming experience I'm looking for at a lower price?

one of the best 1tbs, and with promo code only $60, should prolly order this today before promo code dies.

amd 955 is a better buy, is a good overclocker so i cant see spending the 15 extra for such a small oc.

that gpu and monitor bundle is odd seeing how ati isnt 3d but nv is.

I would normally say that that display is a bit expensive for your budget, but throwing in a free :eek: 5770 makes it a pretty killer deal.

You should definitely go with skuzzzy's suggestions on the HDD and CPU. I doubt that you'll need the IGP on the 880, so this 955 + 870 combo looks to be a good deal for $210 AR.

One last thing, decent gaming rigs usually start out at around $600-700 without monitor, so I think you're doing pretty good to be at $850 with monitor.

Thanks a bunch, was able to get down to 774.92 with CPU/MoBo combo.
