Despite the presence of this odd 1.5 dual core the rest of the line is quite solid with base frequencies starting at 1.8 with the 4C A4-7210.

1.5 Ghz dual core @ 10 watt TDP sounds about right.

Makes me wonder what AMD could do with a AM1 refresh dual core @ 25 watts. (ie, Sempron 2650's replacement).

Actually it does not, N3000 is a up to 2.08Ghz Dual core with both dual channel and DDR3L-1600 support, on a 4W TDP package.

Whiout dual channel AMD does not longer have the huge IGP advantage on small cores and thats a problem because Carrizo-L more than doubles Braswell TDP, and the 3 lower ones are gona compete with Braswell Celeron and Pentium for sure.
