AMD R9 Fury X reviews!

Or you could just pay $329.99 for an R9 390, unlock it to a 390x (ASAP), water block it and OC the crap out of and you'll probably beat a stock fury for less money. Or buy 2 reference R9 390s, and crossfire them, and you'll beat a fury by at least 80% for a similar price. Paying hundreds more for 10% more performance was never practical IMO. If you're looking for something cool to put in your case to show off to your buddies, then by all means get a Fury.
 
A Fury will have longer legs than a 390(X), it's also GCN 1.2. For me due I'd take the leap from R9 380 to Fury ($199->$550) and skip the GCN 1.1 parts like the 390(X).
And I'd skip all the competitor's parts in favor of a 390(X).
 
And the markup is ridiculous... $698.

Ya, well, I'm just waiting at this point for my bank to do another 20% off coupon for tiger direct, and then after I price match it against Amazon, I should be able to pick one up for 540ish.
