Numbers are starting to show up
according to the Inquirer (not the best source i know) the 2348 will cost $320, the 2348 is clocked at 1.9ghz and it's going to be the lowest barcy. At that price it will start higher than a Q6600 that runs at 2.4ghz.

Is that a good indication or better yet a reflection of a better performance????
I mean if they're going to charge this much it better perform accordingly

These are 2P/8P processor you need to compare them to Intel Clovertown's and the upcoming Tigerton the lowest Intel Clovertown is going to be sold for $209 after the upcoming Xeon price cuts. So $320 for the lowest Barelcona at 1.9GHZ is about pretty even, the 2.00GHZ DP Clovertown 80W is going to be $316 so overall like the Athlon 64x2's they should maintain at least rough parity to Intel minimum.

Anything less then this and AMD is in trouble.

Q6600 doesn't come into play until we see some Agena pricing.
