I've been having a problem keeping my 1.33 GHz Athlon cool. Initially I had a DoDoMaster HSF but have since changed it to a GG w/ 40 cfm YS Tech Fan and that seemed to help a lot. My question is my CPU hovers around 46 to 50 degrees Celcius at load (3DMark2001 Demo for 45 minutes)is this OK. My Chassis temps stay between 37 to 39 C. and the room Temps range between 76 to 88 deg. FAHRENHEIT, I live in Hawaii and it's hot and HUMID I never lapped the HSF but am willing if its worth it plus I have a 68 cfm. Delta sucking in the front and a generic fan blowing out the back. I also ran Prime95 for over an hour but peak temps stayed the same.

P.S. these temps were achieved by leaving the side cover off cause the temps went up about 5-7 degress Cel. with it on. NO AC IN ROOM!!!

Your wisdom will be appreciated.

sorry about the run on sentences
