AMD pulling a NV, rebadging 5770->6770

lol, have you been in a cave for 5 months? this has been discussed to death back when it was actually news.

hey atleast AMD says: you can crossfire a 5770 with a 6770. The only difference between the cards is apparantly the 6770 having improved HD playback hardware or something along those lines.

Apparantly they also cost the same. AMD should have gone for Nvidias tactic on this particular issue, would have earned them alot more cash with all the ignorants out there.

Hi,

Pics like that have no place here in the tech forums. Please don't do it again, this is not OT where most things like that are allowed.

Regards.

I'm still waiting for a thread about the gtx560 versus the gtx560 oem, and the gtx560ti vs the gtx560ti oem. Each version uses different chips clocked differently, but bear the same exact name. So, someone buys a dell with a gtx560 and gets a completely different chip than what was launched. I havnt seen any reviews of these oem version either.
