AMD Processor, Venice vs Clawhammer

Buying a AMD Athlon 64 3500+ . Is there any significant difference btw the Venice and the Clawhammer. $20 difference at Newegg. I won't require much if any OC

I've never had a problem with OEM cpu's, and if you ever desire to OC, be it retail or OEM, your warranty is VOID anyway.

Also, warranties are NOT transferable Poopy as per AMD license agreement. Here?s what AMD says:

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY EXIST UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, APPLY ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE AMD PROCESSOR, OR AMD PROCESSOR-BASED COMPUTER AND LAST ONLY FOR AS LONG AS SUCH PURCHASER CONTINUES TO OWN THE PROCESSOR.

So, buying the OEM or a resale puts the buyer in the same boat. Just pointing out facts here....

no there aint nothing wrong with oem's thats not my point

the point is you spend the money and after 6 months you got no warrenty.. zero. nada...

True, but where does that leave the buyer of the cpu you are offering if you read my prior thread? It looks to me like they'd have 6 more months of warranty with the OEM than with yours as I understand it. I know you're trying to make a sale, but facts are facts....
