AMD processor update at windowsupdate site?

There's a Windows XP update for AMD users at windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Anyone know what this is all about?

I think it just allows windows to recognize the newer Athlons so that when you run system properties it will show what your CPU is instead of "unknown processor".
