AMD Processor price drops

Anyone know when the 1.2,1.33,1.4 AMD Athlon proccessors are suppose to drop in price this summer? Holding out for the price drop before I purchase one.

hmm, as far as i see. you can get a 1.4 for around 200 dollars. I didn't think that was expensive myself. a pricedrop would be something differnent. I think in august when the new chip comes out it will drop.

athlon 1.4's can be had for around $170, i've seen them at that price from my local hardware retailer (Fry's). Not all deals have to come from newegg you know 😉

i have a STRONG feeling that prices are going to go up sometime soon though. They can't stay like this forever. I think DUrons might have gone up a little bit, correct me if i'm wrong?

I saw at one place, MigrateZone, the Durons went way up on price, and the Athlons a bit too. Other places seem to be pretty stable though.
