im holding out on buying a new system in hopes prices will be dropping soon?
Is this a long ways away or a couple months? 😕
 
Chip inventories are VERY high - Intel has 32% more than they had last year. I'd expect price cuts after Q3 results are posted.
 
It seems like the last round of cuts just applied to the low-end A-64s. But the Athlon XPs and the Semprons in that range have for the most part held steady while other stuff has been bumping up (I know, the exception being the barton 2500b but that may have been caused by Frys dumping). This has been a strange year in a market that usually only declines, but it could be good for investors, and who among us hasn't picked up a tech stock or two?
