AMD Price Cuts

AMD was supposed to announce some price cuts this week. How long do they take to trickle down to retailers?

I read that this may be the last price cut AMD does for awhile as they're taking quite a beating on profits for undercutting Intel by so much, as is Intel for trying to get the Pentium 4 in the "remotely affordable" range. I doubt that you'll see any price drops anytime soon, though, at least not noticably. What, an 800 MHz Duron for $60 is too much for you or something?

Nah. Just have my newegg shopping cart sitting on another browser waiting to hit "send", but I can wait a day or two if it made a difference.

No, there won't be anything substantial in the next couple of days. You might see a dollar or two drop, but nothing more than Newegg repricing their inventory to remain competitive.
