AMD PLP Question

AMD has listed PLP support on 285 and newer GPU's. Here is a screen saver I have been using, SerineScreen Marine Aquarium.

As you can see, this screen saver works in PLP in an eyefinity type setting perfectly. The program is setup for multiple screens natively.

My question is why can a screen saver do this, but a game can't without a hardware solution on the card?

either the game needs to be built with it or the drivers need to calls to be able to fake it as well as it call without too many bugs.

That screensaver was coded with PLP; a lot of games aren't because Eyefinity still such a small section of pc gaming. Zaltan could give more info though
