AMD PHENOM2 QUAD CORE 940 12GHZ

i recently bought system showing below with mother board ASROCK K10N78.
i would like to know if this mother board is good.
i have one problem so far , when i turn my pc on till window standby, it make alot noise i tried to do something from Cmos setup but still same. system runs perfectly fine.
would u guys suggest anything what to do.
and secondly please let me know if this is good processor do i need to change my motherboard to boost speed or the processor.

hey yaqoobwaheed we need more detailed info. What kind of noises are you listening? It could be hard drive, fans, power supply...

Where did you get this 12ghz number from??? You will never get this oc from a 940BE unless you found a alien HSF made with very exotic materials
