I put in a request at newegg, and I suggest you do the same. If anyone can get them, it's the egg. Only a few will probably be available. I waited too long the last time they carried a low power cpu, and they sold out. I won't make that mistake again.

As far as I know the 9100e is still on the B2 stepping so it doesn't feel like a good choice. The 9550 is just a couple of dollars more, it doesn't have the TLB bug anymore and it has a 95 W TDP so it looks like the better option.

I would wait for the 9150e (since that is a B3 stepping), and I am actually planning on doing that for the HTPC I want to build. (Even if I can just buy a BD player cheaper than the HTPC I want to make, it is really just an excercise to learn the intricacies of Linux for me.)

It should be available in the second quarter: Digitimes Article on the 9100e and 9150e release dates., so it isn't that far away.
