Interesting, I still have one of the unlocked "dual" cores and I'm surprised it's performance is still valued so much. :D

Not much to add except this is my CPU for the last few years, no complaints... was reasonably high end at the time:)

Its been 79$ at microcenter for a while. Ran this CPU for 3 years. Very good. 4.1 GHZ on air is pretty easy

Alternatively, you can also get the X6 1045T for $80 at MicroCenter. If you're really lucky, you'll find a motherboard that gets $40 off with the 1045T :D

Of course if you're really, really lucky, you'll score a couple of X6 1100Ts at Fry's for $76 each.

Still rockin' a Phenom II X4 @ 4.0 Ghz. Don't know if I'd buy it new, even if cheap like this, but its still capable enough right now. As someone said, its good for a legacy system upgrade.
