AMD Phenom CnQ

Can the CnQ feature on a Phenom either undervolt and underclock or even shut off cores when not needed?

I'm about to get a 9850BE and would like to cut down on idle power as much as possible.

It lowers the voltage and multiplier of the processor when not used much. It works pretty good if you aren't overclocking.
