AMD Performance Project - Do you really need to be 18 to receive prizes?

Is it true? If so, would an accompanying adult over 18 have to be with you? And do they have to be related to you ? Hah, please tell me no....

At the one in Phoenix, the guy on stage said you had to be 18 or have a guardian with you.
