AMD PCIe... ever going to come?

Does anyone knows when amd 64 motherboard makers are going to integrate some kind of PCIe into their motherboards or is it only going to be limited to intel and their motherboards.

I have not heard of any amd motherboard makers comming out with PCIe, i might just be out of the loop, but can someone fill me in?

I believe Anandtech just ran an article on VIA PCI-E solution coming this fall.


Rumors have the NForce 4 with PCI-E coming this Christmas


However if the last 939 implementation is any indicator, I bet VIA will beat NVidia to it

also, is it some kind of bridge to link PCIe to a agp motherboard or is it a completely new board (hence NForce 4)

1 more thing, how much will it freakin cost?

Price, I have no idea... If I were to take a SWAG, I'd wager on a 10-15 dollar premium over current 939 offerings respectivly
