Alright let me first say that I"ve been out of the game for quite a while basically just trying not to get caught up in the endless process of updating your system.

That being said i haven't looked into a new computer for quite a while and last time i checked AMD had a good handle on the cpu but a little while back i heard that Intel's new core 2 duo processor was amazing.

correct me if need be or give me advice. im looking to get a nice laptop after i get out of boot camp and thought now would be a good time to start looking again.

Looking to get the most custom notebook that i could so any suggestions in the dept. will be more then welcome.

Thanks

While I do not wish to make any specific notebook recommendations at this time, if you want the best performance possible, you do want a notebook based on one of Intel's Core 2 mobile processors (core name Merom). They are the current mobile speed king.
