USE : office/home pc, email, bills, occasional multimedia need, and kids game

have all other parts needed

While it wont be used for gaming it will need to fire up the occasional 3d kids educational game (e.g. jumpstart world games, zoo tycoon...). The AMD/ATI intergrated video should do that in spades...

looked at dell's etc.. but having never brought a store brought PC, i cant bring myself to pull the trigger on sub standard parts. (also paying for an OS which i already have)

someone hook me up with an intel version please...

e2160 - $70
Gigabyte EP35-DS3L - $98
ATI 3450 - $30 (better than 780g, which is based on the 2400)

Best integrated graphics right now for Intel is probably nvidia's 7150, which isn't that great.
You can wait for nvidia's 8200/8300 to come out for intel (this is still worse than 780g by a good margin) or intel's g45/g43. These will probably be out late summer (so august).
