I love my AMD products but man, that lawsuit settlement with Intel that resulted in the Global Foundries split off isn't looking good at all! 12 million APUs is great but it should have been more. The demand was there but production couldn't keep up and those lost units of potential sales will never come back.
I'm sure they'll ship more as GF fixes their issue with getting good Llano yields. Bobcat is doing fine as of now when it comes to that.
I don't think it'll be too bad of a loss because early next year they'll be releasing the Trinity APU, and with that come new laptops. They already had Llano for testing the 32nm process, so Trinity shouldn't suffer any major yield issues (they've already had fully working samples ever since a month or so ago).
