AMD newbie... I'm considering AMD for my next system build... what should I get???

I'm a long time Intel user but the prices on the 1ghz and beyond thuderbirds are real nice... I've never used AMD stuff before so can someone recommend a mobo and chip for me? I have high quality pc-133 and a amd rated ps already so that's not an issue. It's just uncharted waters for me. I currently have a p3700@966 on a soyo 7yvca mobo and it has been stable as heck for over 7 months now. I'm selling that system to my brother so now i need some new parts. Thanks for the help.

Check out Iwill's line of mobos at www.iwillusa.com. I personally recommend the Iwill KK266 (KK266-R if you want RAID support).

I recommend the Asus A7V133... the chip is up to you and how much you want to spend. The reason I dont recommend the IWill is its been having some multiplier problems. Also problems with unlocked CPUs like the 1.2Ghz that usually come unlocked.

Asus A7V133 sounds good to me... Asus have quite good support too.
