AMD morgan won't work, will Tbird?

I have a DFI AK-74EC mobo w/Kt133 chipset. I know that it will not accept an AMD duron w/ the morgan core, but it should accept a 1.0Ghz - 1.2 Tbird right? I currently have a duron 800 & wanted some more speed w/o having to replace the mobo.

Agree you should be right about Tbirds. Been to DFI's site to check out bios versions? (For instance, MSI K7T KT133 will do both regular Durons/Tbirds, Morgans and XPs), maybe DFI?
 
Yes it will take the t-bird no problem, but check the website, a bios update may be available to make it work with a Morgan.
