AMD MOBO ques

Looking to start building a new gaming rig. Its time to put my 2500+ out to pasture. Been eyeballing the Athlon 64 X2 3800+ processor with July 24 price cuts in mind and am looking for reccomendations on a nice MOBO to pair it with. Rig is being built mostly with gaming in mind. Price is not the most important factor in my mind but it always helps. More than likely I will being going with a 7900 GT vid card, if that makes a difference. Open to suggestions on vid card as well. Thanks in advance for any advice

newegg are doing Abit KN8 for $53 after MIR which imo is a good deal if you don't need a board with Firewire.
