Hi,

i was just wondering if anyone knows if there is an AMD motherboard skt 939 that supports PCI-Express yet? I read in a magazine that there isn't one out yet and that the Mobo's for AMD are mostly AGP slots.

The reason i am asking is because im interested in buying the Nvidia Geforce 6600GT which can only work on PCI Express boards.

Have Nvidia released a AGP8X version of this Video Card? Will they release one?

I could buy the Nvidia Geforce 6800GT which is a AGP only model from what i believe. But i can buy the 6600GT for half the price and the performance difference between the two cards isnt that large.

Any ideas?

sorry, that sounded mean. yes, there are. If you notice the post right at the top of the mobo page, about the ASUS A8N-SLI, that's one of 'em. Just scan through the rest of the mobo forum, and you'll find others. usually the topic is "A8N vs. _______" ______ being the name of another board. Happy searching!

It's in stock and at a reasonable price because it's a Chaintech...

(i.e. it's a POS.)
