the R9 285 (tonga / gcn 1.2) obviously offer this "mixed rotation" option for portrait-landscape-portrait display configuration.

quad 290x (hawaii / gcn 1.1) does NOT offer this option of "mixed rotation". neither in single mode nor in crossfire mode.

does fury x (fiji / gcn 1.2) also offer this "mixed rotation" option? especially in quad crossfire mode.

what about 980ti (maxwell)? and again especially in quad sli mode.

rumors (per a member on another forum) states that amd tech support replied back saying fury x does support portrait-landscape-portrait.

however no end user confirmation (sadly sometimes tech support will say whatever just to move to the next question).

if so. this is exactly the push that is needed to upgrade from quad 290x to quad furyx.

can anyone (end user) with multi-monitor and a fury x confirm this.
you do not even have to move the monitor around nor do anything physical.

simply go into crimson (aka catalyst aka radeon settings)
go to additional settings
go to amd eyefinity multi-display
and
see if you have the "mixed rotation" option in "supported configuration for your display group."

thanks.
