This accomplishment is a testimonial to great planning and execution by the entire Hammer team. We have a long way to go, but this is truly a major milestone in the hammer program. Thank you and congradulations (sic) to everyone who made this possible.

Today at 3pm we received the first AMD64 K8 based hardware system from AMD.

Today at 5pm we booted and are running the 64-bit versions of Windows XP on the AMD64 K8 system.

We are even running 32-bit apps under wow64!

The hardware system is unbelievably solid for a chip that just popped out of the oven a mere month ago.

In addition to running the 64-bit system we can dual boot into the 32-bit version of XP as well on the very same hardware without any changes!

Thanks are due to a great many people for their help and support in making this happen.

Watch this space for more news coming soon!

man if i had this baby in my hands at three oclock you can bet your sweet a@@ it would be loaded and primed in less than an hour lol
