Found this intertesting bit of industry news on the Win Info 2000 site....
According to reports, Intel will slash prices on its microprocessors up to 60 percent (!) by the end of the month. By late April, the 1.7GHz Pentium 4 will cost about $350, after debuting at $700. The 1.5GHz P4, now selling for $635, will drop to $250. And the 1.4GHz P4 will drop from $425 to less than $200.
What do you think...The "Blue Boys" are seeing sales erode...???
