AMD-k62 400 mhz overclock it?

How many megahertz can I overclock an AMD-K62 400 mhz cpu to?

every cpu is completely different. Yours might get up to 550 ir it could only get to 400. You have to try and find out. Nothing is guaranteed with any o/c

I just o/c one to 500 using a fairly reasonable Heat sink (CDN$20). It made 550 rock stable but I didn't want to push it too much and its for a friend anyways. Used the Epox MV3G2 Mobo. STill slow though compared to my Duron 600@900 heheh.

I've gone through a few K6-2, got 37Mhz on a 266 and 50Mhz on a 350. I'd bet on 50Mhz.
