AMD k6-2 500 problems > Win2k

when i use wcpuid, it says the external bus is 50MHz DDR, so the internal speed is 250MHz (5x50)

but when i go to win98, it says the external bus is 100MHz , so the internal speed is 500MHz

what can be happening?

when i run benchmarks on win2k, the cpu test gives a very low result

It's probably just a problem with Win2k and the program. I wouldn't get worried about it.

hmm... well, you'd sure be able to tell the diffrence between 250 and 500Mhz if indeed it was only running at 250.
