AMD is up $1.18 today!

Woohoo! Intel, meanwhile, went down. I think AMD was boosted by the recently announced three year flash memory deal with Nortel. I was betting that their stock would improve from more than just microprocessors since the flash memory market has been so tight lately.

Home Depot has also been heading consistently skyward since its big crash. Sure wish I had jumped on that at 35 -- now at 41 or thereabouts and still gaining.

problem is AMD isn't supplying Nortel with enough flash memory, so Nortel is actually buying from two companies(my dad works there and just told me that)

If AMD is selling to their capacity, that's pretty good for their bottom line. They are expanding their manufacturing this year, as I understand it.
