Hey guys, I made this video for those of you who missed the livestream or don't want to watch 3 hours of them talking about audio enhancements (seriously though that dragged on forever). I hope you guys enjoy and feel free to conversate about the video below or in the comments on youtube. Cheers!

The only thing on my wishlist is for Raja to never do public speaking again. I'm sure his credentials are incredible (since he was with Apple in the past) and he's a super intelligent guy, but public speaking just isn't his forte. ;)

Yeah I spent about 45 minutes doing nothing but editing ONLY his clips to make them shorter. He would LITERALLY spend 5-10 seconds pausing while speaking.

The video was shortened by 26 seconds after I edited his bits lol

but yes very nice and concise with actual dramatic timing, unlike the actual event.

:(I have to say I've always liked AMD but last night's farce of a presentation reminded me of all the worst things about tech nerds and marketing people and their total lack of charisma, presence or presentation skills.
I could have done a better job myself and I don't say this lightly, the presenters were hopeless, the tech prowess of the event pitiful and I now know that the next 290x is a little bit better than the 7970GHZ at Firestrike at an unknown price.

^I have to agree. No shame in getting professional communications people to give these presentations if that's what it takes to engage the audience. It's not like there was a detailed panel session at the end where presenters were grilled about the technical details.

That said, I look forward to next month's dedicated look at Mantle, as well as (obviously) professional reviews of the 290X

Those game presentations were really too long, especially the Chris Roberts one. That thing dragged on and on and I watched thousands of people leave the stream because of that thing. Its all well and good having your partners present but it needs to be worth talking about and if they don't have something to say get rid of them. Just felt like AMD had to pad the time rather than cram things in, the whole thing was just far to slow.
