If you specify which game and which test conditions you are referring to, I could explain more. But I think you may actually be looking at the average fps bar graph and minimum fps scaling line graph. Those naturally won't match up.

Maybe its just me, I'm just looking at the example you said I quoted correctly..

35 to 65 is 2.2 scaling.....but in my book, that doesn't add up?

Sorry, I was incorrect - that isn't 2.2 scaling, but I think we were looking at the wrong numbers.

The HD7850@860 gets about 33fps in Hitman. The 7850@860 combined with a 7870 gets 64fps. If you look at the orange scaling line, it indicates ~1.95x scaling, which is correct. I believe you were looking at the minimum scaling line, which is about 2.15x.

The graph is probably too complicated, but the data points are correct.
