AMD FAN vs. Alpha w/ Heatsync

I jsut got my 1.333GHz in the mail today and also my fan. My fan is the Alpha PAL6035 Ultra Kit with Delta 38cfm Fan. Now, why is this fan better than the one AMD provides? It looks to me like the AMD one is pretty good. Of is it that the spacer won't fit on the AMD fan? or the Arctic silver? IS there a disadvantage or am i just overseeing something? Thanks guys.
 
The fan provided on the AMD since does somewhere in the area of 23CFM I think, or somewhere in there. However the delta does 38cfm. The ALPHA is probably a better heatsink as well (probably, the pal is kinda weak). Also, do note that the Delta fan sounds like a small hairdryer. The stock fan is FAR quieter.
