I won! I won! Cant believe my luck today .. i had two finals back-to-back in the morning that almost make my head explode, and here's the email from AMD saying I won a gigabyte mb, Athlon Xp and HSF. This is my first sweepstakes win in my life!!! just want to share with fellow AT.

On the contrary, It's nice to see when people actually win something. I'm just kinda curious to see how many AT peeps won the mobo & cpu from AMD. Weather it was online or from attending one of the events.

Me too! I won at the local San Diego event a few weeks ago

I traded my 1800+ for a 1600+ and $80 since I needed some cash to get myself a decent video card, and then I sold my Ga-7DX and picked up an EPoX 8KHA+, which should arrive soon enough. Then voila! I'll have a new system

I won early last month from the online ones. I've been a lucky bastard when it comes to this stuff. In Nov/Dec 99 I won a full system (an Athlon 700Mhz/GeForce system, no monitor) from GamePC, then in 2000 I won 64MB of ram from Asus and got into the Diablo 2 closed beta test (the one with 1000 people that got put in the credits, not that lame open one that almost everyone got into), and now this. My friends all make fun of me for it
