Duron will own you all... or something.

BTW - will Mustang run on current boards? Im trying to think about how the future will go as of upgrades for AMD, as most people can just drop in a new processor because Intel has compatibility back to BX, and in some cases, LX. Now, after one switch from Slot to Socket (A) they arent going to force another one with the demands of the Mustang? Is 462 here to stay until Hammerr?

Hey, check out this Duron 750 vs P3 700 "comparison":
http://www.planethardware.com/reviews/cpus/Duron750/
I think their trying to blow smoke up peoples you know whats. Look at page 3, it's full of errors for the CPU specs. It even has the name Celeron in there for some unknown reason. I'll do a copy and past for those who aren't there:

<< Let's look at the P3-700's spec list:

700MHz Core Speed
100MHz GTL+ System Bus Speed
32KB of integrated L1 full core speed cache
128KB of integrated L2 full core speed cache
.18micron manufacturing process
On paper the Celeron 700 enjoys an advantage of double the L2 cache that the Duron offers, but suffers in the categories of system bus speed (100MHz vs. 200MHz DDR), and L1 cache amount (32KB vs. 128KB).
>>

I think they originally had it as a Celeron vs Duron comparison, but realized a 700MHz Celeron would be no match, so they changed it to a Pentium III. This makes you wonder if they even had the hardware. Heck, even Anands Duron 750 review shows a P3 600 beating the Duron 750 in some cases. Things like this just make me mad!

Yeah Adam, I alerady emailed Craig the reviewer telling him his errors. Hopefully he'll change them so as not to mislead people...
