AMD Duron 650MHz & ASUS A7V

Hi!
I've got AMD Duron 650MHz & ASUS A7V. I have questions about overclocking.

Q1. How much would the CPU be overclocked normally and for the most?
Q2. If I overclock the CPU @ 900MHZ or 1GHz, will I feel big differences?
Q3. Can a good cooling system prevent the CPU from shortening its life and other overclocking problems?

Thank you!
Have a nice day!

1. mine runs between 935 and 950 at 1.85V
2. Yes 900 and 1000 are noticable. plus 1000 looks cool.
3. You NEED awesome cooling to reach these speeds. FOP32/38 or something real nice. the stock
heatsink wont last long.

run the asus probe, if your cpu ever gets to about 55/56C then it will be unstable.

I have a Duron 600@875, 103fsb, 1.7v using FOP32-1 temp stays in the mid 40's. With the price of cpus, I don't really worry about shortening its life. I'm fixing to go buy another 600 and use the defogger kit on it and have a backup. Just like my racecar, if I have a spare, it usually won't break! Yeah right.
