amd dual core optimizer

does the amd dual core optimizer really make any difference to performance? is it just supposed to make games run smoother? how about general pc apps (video encoding...etc)?


also does anyone have problems running the dc optimizer with winxp x64?
 
I don't have any problems with Optimizer installed it runs great with some of my favorite games and runs great with Adobe CS2 plus Premiere Pro and Maya. I think you can try it.
